{FREEBIE} Halloween Cake Toppers

Halloween Cupcake Toppers

Here in Australia we don't celebrate Halloween like the do in the United States. However, I've been noticing it has been gaining popularity and last year I took my kids trick-or-treating for the first time. They loved it!

This year, we have been lucky enough to be invited to a pumpkin carving party. It was really fun to carve out the pumpkins. I was quite surprised to find that the insides were mostly seeds and there isn't much flesh, so you can't eat it. Here is my spooky castle.

And here are the pumpkins all together.

The pumpkins weren't edible, but there were lots of very creative things we could feast on, like these scary eyeballs made of lychee and blueberries.

I brought cupcakes with halloween toppers that I created. These are really easy to put together; you just print it, cut out the circles, then tape it to some toothpicks. My daughter really enjoyed putting them together.

Dinosaur Party!

My little boy loves dinosaurs, so we threw him a dinosaur birthday party! It's the first time I've thrown a themed party and I was pretty pleased with how it went. Here's how the food looked:

I made little name dots for all the cups so everyone would be able to keep track of which one was theirs. Normally I just have a sharpie on hand to write the names on.

I also created little tags for the food for a bit of fun! The dinosaur lollies went very quickly; it's just as well that I bought three bags of them.

For games the kids made dinosaurs out of paper plates and we had pass-the-box (our cheats version of pass-the-parcel where each kid can get a toy out of the box).

And then of course, when everyone left they got a lolly bag!

RAWR! Has anyone else thrown a dinosaur party before? What did you do?

Blue DOg Creations is under new management

{MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT}
The time has come for Beckie and myself to move on from Blue Dog, due to family and work commitments we have both realised that we can no longer run Blue Dog Creations with out compromising on something else - and family must come first.

After 4 years i have so many loyal customers, and i thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your support.

I also thank Beckie for being able to help me when demand has been high! i couldn't of made it this far without your help!

Carey has been helping me out over the past few months and has really enjoyed designing for customers. She has been able to step up and manage BDC for a couple of months while i took a break to work out what i wanted to do - thank you so much Carey for being there for Beckie and I.

Carey has now decided to take over Blue Dog for me to keep the name going, and keep my loyal customers happy with gorgeous designs.

Carey can be contacted through FB or her new email is bluedogcreations@outlook.com
